Our Story

Our main shop headquarters is located in Greentown, Indiana.  We are about 1 hour northeast of Indianapolis, IN and 1 hour and a half east of Lafayette, IN.

Hi there! I’m Alexa Keck, the owner and maker of Keck’s Kustoms Furniture.  I discovered my passion for woodworking in the fall of 2019 and haven’t put a tool down since. 

For as long as I could remember, doing anything hands on sparked a fire in me.  What started with blanket ladders as a hobby, grew into something I could have never imagined.  In my husband and I's first home, our dining table was the heart of it.  It's where we paid our bills, it's where our family gathered for Christmas, it's where we decided to take the leap of faith to quit my factory job and give Keck's Kustoms my all.  

Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you, plans for peace and well being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

We are built on that promise alone.  This business was formed in the middle of one of the hardest seasons my husband and I have walked through.  A season of uncertainty, doubt and confusion for what our future held.  One day at a time, we chose to trust in the path that was being laid for us.  Little did we know that it would turn into the most incredibly journey of our lives thus far.  

I started Keck's Kustoms in a 10'x12' concrete room in my husband and I's first home.  No garage, no windows - right next to our living room! Just think about the saw dust for a second.  To this day, I have no idea how we made it work.  Since then, I have moved into a 1,100 sq ft barn on my in laws property.  

We have had constant growth thanks to our incredible clients and their word of mouth referrals.  We now have two full time employees, a part time delivery team and are in the middle of expanding our warehouse space.  My team and I are committed to constant growth in our customer service, quality and techniques. We try to treat each day as a gift and strive to go above and beyond with each piece that we build.   

So, from all of that, here's what sums it all up: We are committed to growth.

3) We believe in giving back.  We know that this business is much bigger than ourselves alone.  Whether it be the people we choose to add to our team or the community we serve, we give 10% of each order to another in need.
